  • Purchasing Administrator
    Delifresh - Bradford

    The Person

    The ideal candidate will have strong administrative skills, be very comfortable working with spreadsheets and thrive on working in a busy environment, whilst being proactive in continuous improvement with processes and functions within the department.

    The Role

    This exciting new role is to provide support to our purchasing function, under the supervision of the buyers and purchasing manager, to maintain the consistency of supply and quality excellence to the customer through appropriate stock levels and quality of products.

    Responsibilities of the Role:

    Prepare Buying Spreadsheets for buyers to place orders
    Book deliveries onto the system
    Generate and send Purchase Orders to suppliers.
    Resolve invoice queries, shortages and quality issues on deliveries
    Liaise with transport department for supplier collections
    Provide supply information to customer service and respond to customer requests.
    Monitor supplier shortages
    Prepare reports for buyers

  • Quality Control Manager
    Delifresh - Bradford

    The Role:

    The Quality Control Manager will be responsible for the ongoing development and management of products and procedures. The role will oversee products from receipt to delivery, implementing and maintaining product specifications, training and handling.

    Working closely with our Purchasing department and other functions within the business the Quality Control Manager will ensure that all necessary requirements are in place to guarantee the integrity of food products.

    Required education, skills and qualifications:

    • A Fresh Produce background in Quality control
    • Proven experience within a medium / large sized food company, preferably within a high care environment.
    • In depth understanding of quality control procedures and relevant standards.
    • Strong attention to detail.
    • Strong organisational skills.
    • Excellent communication skills, verbal and written.
    • Good people management skills.
    • Proficient in MS Office
    • Able to embrace challenges with a positive attitude.

  • Night Shift - Packer
    Delifresh - Widnes

    We have an exciting opportunity in our Widnes site for a competent Night Shift worker. Experience handling Fresh Produce and Delicatessen in a chilled environment is preferred but not essential.

    You will need to be fully active and be capable of lifting weights up to 25kg.

    The successful candidate must be able to demonstrate a good understanding of the English language both reading and writing and also basic mathematics & hold a valid Fork Lif Truck License.

    Qualifying Bonus achievable.

  • Transport Operations Supervisor
    Delifresh - Widnes

    We have an excellent opportunity for a Transport Operations Supervisor to join our distribution centre in Widnes reporting to the Transport Manager.

    The job of Transport Operations Supervisor will involve a wide variety of administrative and coordination activities which include: vehicle route planning and scheduling; managing and de-briefing drivers; monitoring and auditing H&S and compliance; customer relations and a range of associated administrative duties.

    Working in a dynamic team, we are looking for an individual with a strong work ethic who can apply a flexible approach to their work.  Experience of working in a similar role is vital and you should have a good working knowledge of traffic management systems as well as a strong geographical knowledge of the UK.

    A certificate of professional competence in National / International operations is desirable but not essential. You will also require  a good intermediate knowledge of MS word and Excel, strong communication skills, excellent attention to detail and be solution driven.

    Minimum of 2 years experience within a FMCG or fast moving goods distribution environment with at least 1year at supervisory level Experience of Tachograph, Telematics & vehicle defects

  • Customer Service Advisor
    Delifresh - Bradford

    Delifresh have an excellent opportunity in our Bradford facility for the correct candidate to join our exciting and busy customer service team. 

    The team collectively handle incoming communications  from customers via various platforms which requires fantastic customer service skills, a good understanding of the English language both reading and writing also basic mathematic and essential general office computing skills. 

    Ongoing training and support in all areas of the department is given to ensure confidence in all aspects of the role is fulfilled. This position offers excellent scope for development and progression within our organisation.

    Key Responsibilities: 
    Handling incoming telephone enquiries
    Processing orders into our bespoke order entry system
    Ad-hoc administration
