Inner workings of these trusty potatoes haven't had time to develop, so colour and crispness can sometimes be lacking although they will taste great.

As the month of August rolls through main crop lifting will commence, which will bring some fantastic options very shortly.

News from the fields is rumbling through as new season potato options across a few specific varieties have started to be woken from their growth sleep.

The early season lift has commenced, and very soon other varieties will follow. We are still working last season crop due to unset skin and low sugar content, but as soon as our potato gurus call the word, we will switch into the fantastic produce of 2019.

NEW Potatoes - Koffmans These Are AMAZING
The word NEW potato is often misunderstood as MIds are more than not sold all year in the disguise of a NEW potato!!!

A classic NEW potato is a small shaped potato which has been grown for maximum flavour whilst young. The NEW part comes around as the potato is straight from the ground and to you.

A Mid potato was once a NEW potato but now has a firm set skin and sourced from Store. These amazing NEW potatoes hold bags of flavour and perform great make sure you order a box as they will soon be gone...
Pearl Mids - Maris Bard
Tiny in size these small graded mids are a total winner.
