    Yorkshire Rhubarb

    The energy from the crowns has quickly depleted and the season is now over for another year

    Volumes this season have been tighter than usual due to the extremely warm weather we saw during the summer of 2018.

    Forced rhubarb will be back in December 2019 - The time has come to wave goodbye (outdoor grown is now in stock)

    Garlic

    New season crop from China is just ready which has inflated prices across the world as a garlic war sets in for the next few weeks.

    China is the largest grower of garlic in the universe and commands the market place - It won't be long until things settle down to normal levels but until then please WATCH OUT...

    Blood Oranges

    Just like the forced rhubarb, the trusty seasonal Blood Orange will be dropping out of season soon.

    At the moment we still have a good supply but start to create something new to plug the gap once the deep red and most awesome flavoured blood orange rolls off into the sunset until next February.

    Piccolo Parsnips

    The season for these unique baby parsnips is nearly coming to a close.

    They will be back around October for another glorious season don't despair though as large parsnips could hopefully fulfil that parsnip flavour until their return.

    Red Cabbage

    Supply of red cabbage is really struggling as the UK crop is severely in short supply.

    The impact on last years heat wave is still being felt as the heads from this year's crop have been extremely small with sporadic crop loss.

    Watch Out as red cabbage is about to get extremely expensive!!!

    Cavelo Nero

    Black Cabbage is starting to struggle, WATCH OUT as it's not the cheapest.

    There is no UK supply at the moment and this bumpy in textured cabbage is being imported and prices are inconsistent.
