All Ware product has been in the store since September/October in dark conditions waiting for use.

Whilst sat starch and sugar levels continually develop giving inconsistent results if you are utilising the wrong potato for a specific need.

During Intake we continually sample fry all chipping varieties to combat high sugar and browning results as soon as your chips hit that hot bubbling fat. Our commitment to supplying the best potato for you is strong but you must note each variety reacts differently to your day to day potato needs .

July Warning - WATCH OUT

We are now venturing into that most difficult time when the stored potato is erupting with sugar so utilising this guide is most paramount.

Early lifters are looming as new season 2019 crop potato starts to gather pace and is getting ready to be lifted - Once out of the ground in July we will then be in another scenario were sugar haven't developed and fry colour could be pale (is it ever easy???)

Don't panic though as we continually fry test and will note results here so you can choose which is the best option for your needs.

NEW Potatoes - Koffmans
The word NEW potato is often misunderstood as MIds are more than not sold all year in the disguise of a NEW potato!!!

A classic NEW potato is a small shaped potato which has been grown for maximum flavour whilst young. The NEW part comes around as the potato is straight from the ground and to you.

A Mid potato was once a NEW potato but now has a firm set skin and sourced from Store. These amazing NEW potatoes hold bags of flavour and perform great make sure you order a box as they will soon be gone...
Pearl Mids - Maris Bard
Tiny in size these small graded mids are a total winner.

With the asparagus season inbound these pearl sized mids will be perfect to present on the plate.

With a smaller grading of 35mm down these will be perfect - Order Pearl mids today !!!!
Mid Potatoes - Maris Bard
This weeks variety is still Maris Bard which will bring a great graded option with fantastic results once boiled.

If you are looking for a smaller grade just order BABY Mids and we will get some most amazing small graded mids to you on your order.

Roast Potatoes - Rooster
The Euro-Star is an exciting variety which is a great all-around option.

Holding a great dry matter content it is screaming to be blanched and hit with boiling hot goose fat for the most perfect roast potato
Chips - Lovers/Koffman's
Thick cut, French fry, crisps whichever fried potato takes your fancy this week the most consistent potatoes you should look into using are either the potato lovers or the most amazing Koffman range.

These preconditioned potatoes are of good grade and hold the perfect dry matter and starch/sugar content to give you the best chip on the planet
Mash - Ceaser
If you are wanting to create a total mind-blowing potato puree then you need to be looking into utilising the washed red.

Product is of good sizing making peeling easier and once through the beautiful skin that awesome flesh will bring some great mashing results.

Over the last couple of months, we have had a little break from the trusty Rooster due to a slight supply issue but they are now back with a bang.

For those who love the almighty Rooster you can once again celebrate their existence as they are here for all to enjoy
All Rounder House Ware - Ceaser
The Ceaser is a great all-rounder for this week, this is a relatively new variety which offers a good stable & consistent offering if you are just looking for a multi-use potato.

Whatever you throw the trusty Ceaser into they will perform on every occasion

Washed and humongous these fellas will blow your mind as this week the variety is a classic Maris Piper.

Being very large in size if you are doing something like potato straws, potato sheets/paper or just want massive chips this jumbo-sized offering will tick the box.
Washed Whites - Estima
Washed, graded and ready for action washed whites are perfect if you need a consistent potato.

This week they are Estima which is a sophisticated variety as it offers some really great results when it comes to items such as Pomme Anna
