Limes
Prices are high and availability for fresh limes is becoming troublesome due to logistical restriction and the global pandemic hitting brazil with force.
Don't stockpile on fruit but please be warned the prices may rise in the future.
Gooseberries
The season for fresh gooseberry is over for another year.
This year's crop has been outstanding and lasted for several weeks longer than in previous years.
They have gone to sleep for another period but don't panic as we have some cheeky ones in the freezer if you need them for a little bit longer
Stoned Fruit
Stoned fruit will start to slide to a seasons end from the end of the week.
the first to disappear will be the French apricot followed by nectarine and all the coloured peaches.
It may be a couple of weeks before the peaches finish but please be warned they wont be here forever.
Jersey Royal Potatoes
The season for the beloved Jersey Royal potato has come to a close.
They won't appear again until next year but don't despair as the mids and other alternative fingerling options are all in good supply and tatsing great
Billberries
The season for these most delicate berries has come to a close.
Its been one of the best seasons for this outstanding fruit for many years and unfortunately they won't be back around for another year.
